Technical sessions on the Portuguese regime for legal, compliance and public affairs teams that do not work in Portuguese.
Legislative update of 28 July 2026. Act no. 37-A/2026 established the governance of the RTRI, created its Management Board, repealed Article 19 of Act no. 5-A/2026 and replaced the transitional regime with a staggered timetable. Who it is for, and on what basis
Intended for. In-house teams outside Portugal and Portuguese subsidiaries whose working language is English.
Legal basis. The whole of Act no. 5-A/2026 and Act no. 37-A/2026.
Scope and deliverables
- Technical session on the regime — 4 hours, covering scope, exclusions, categories, disclosure duties, hearings, legislative footprint, code of conduct, incompatibilities and sanctions;
- executive briefing for boards — 90 minutes;
- workshop on the boundaries of the regime — 3 hours, with qualification case studies including procurement;
- session materials in English and a compliance self-assessment grid.
Method and phases
- In-person or remote, closed-group delivery;
- case studies drawn from the client's own interaction history, where provided;
- post-session Q&A window of thirty days.
Duration and fees
Indicative duration. Scheduled to the client's calendar.
Fees on proposal. Set by reference to the actual scope, established in a preliminary call at no cost, and presented with an itemised breakdown of deliverables, timing and terms.
