Client Support & Help-Desk
A dedicated support channel for international organisations working with us on compliance with Portugal’s lobbying transparency regime, Law No. 5-A/2026 of 28 January (Lei n.º 5-A/2026, de 28 de janeiro), in force since 27 July 2026.
How to reach us
Support requests reach us through three channels. The first is email: write to info@representacaodeinteresses.com and your message is logged and routed to the team member responsible for your engagement. The second is telephone: (+351) 285 107 010 connects you to our Lisbon office, which coordinates all client work delivered through this website. The third is the integrated form: select the request type “Support” on the contact page and describe your question; the form captures the details our team needs to respond without a second round of clarification.
Response hours
Our help-desk operates on business days, Monday to Friday, with response hours aligned to Central European Time (CET/CEST). Because the delivery team is based in Lisbon and Brussels, enquiries submitted during European business hours are normally acknowledged the same day; messages received outside those hours — including from clients in the Americas or Asia — are picked up at the start of the next business day in Europe. Matters connected to regulatory deadlines, such as the 30-day update duty under Article 5(4) or the 60-day registration window for professional representatives of third parties under Article 19(2), are flagged and prioritised accordingly.
What support covers
The help-desk serves clients with active engagements as well as organisations still at the enquiry stage. Typical requests include clarification of points raised in an applicability assessment, the status of a registration dossier for the Transparency Register of Interest Representation (Registo de Transparência da Representação de Interesses — RTRI), questions about documentation delivered as part of a compliance toolkit, scheduling of training sessions in English, and administrative matters such as invoicing and engagement letters.
The help-desk does not provide ad-hoc legal advice outside a contracted engagement. Where a question requires substantive analysis of your specific situation, we will say so and propose the appropriate service from the catalogue rather than improvise an answer.
Service levels
Support is provided on a qualitative, best-effort basis for general enquiries. For contracted clients, response and resolution targets are defined in the engagement documentation, together with escalation contacts and reporting arrangements: [service levels to be contracted]. This distinction keeps expectations clear — anyone may ask a question, while formal commitments belong in a formal agreement.
